Hunting and Fishing

My buddy Harley has a ranch in Goldthwaite, Texas. I've been hanging out with him and hunting a lot lately, 2 weeks ago I got a buck and a doe in the same day... the night before I saw a bobcat with her 2 cubs, it's been fun. Here's me in a tree stand before rifle season started. Notice the iPod earbuds. There's Longhorns on the ranch too, they're fun to chase on the four wheeler.

This morning Chan and I went fishing at Lake McQueeney and I got a 30+ lb. yellow catfish.

Right before we left for Japan Dorothy found out the hard way why eating bottle caps is a bad idea. She had to have 12" of intestine cut out, she almost didnt make it but now is recovering pretty well. We're glad.

Japan Trip!

Okay, so a while back my email address was hacked and I had to delete it, I forgot all my passwords and couldnt post here for months... so, sorry nine people. Anyway Tina and I went to Japan last month ( for less cool pictures of our trip check her blog ) and it was a blast. Heres some pics...
Crazy signs were everywhere to be seen, I took pictures of all of them
Vending machines were also everywhere, cans of hot coffee, cigarettes and beer.

Cupie doll painting by Hori Benny at Chop Stick tattoo in Osaka. Awesome artist and a really cool guy, if youre in Osaka you should check him out! He tattooed us both (amazing work) and hooked us up.

This is a small alley.

Deer in Nara, they were everywhere, we thought they were going to be in a park or something, but they were just cruising around downtown, I even saw one in a store.
Matsuri on a small island. The village temple doubled as a playground.

Awesome temple in Kyoto.

The Rambler

I got Tina a '63 Rambler which I plan on restoring over the next few weeks. I have the engine running like a top, now for the transmission.... Its a great car and will make a great Sunday driver.

Luar's first time shooting a shotgun...

After Iaido we cooked some venison that Jeffe brought, I think his dad shot the deer last season.

Fredericksburg

Tina and I went to Fredericksburg a couple weeks ago, it was a much needed break. We stayed in a cottage that we visited last year, the owner immigrated from Switzerland and relocated some cabins and old buildings from his native village. They're really cool and quaint, he rebuilt them brick by brick on a few acres of woods right near downtown. Mostly we stayed in the cabin, leaving only to window shop and eat at the best restaurant in the world, The Auslander. We ate there like ten times in three days....

This was our spot

When we first got there a little Jack Russell attacked Tina
Here's the living room,

This is me eating Tina's food after finishing mine

Mandatory abandoned house shot. There were a lot on the way there.
